  • Q: What does the training entail?
    A: The training is a self-paced, on-demand virtual training that you access with a personalized private login on our virtual learning platform.

    You will begin with an orientation session and then move through the modules with each one unlocking after you completed the previous module.

    The interactive workbooks include how to start implementing what you learn, while you learn it.

    You are encouraged to move through this training in a way that will maximize your ability to synthesize and apply what you learn into your every day life.

    No need for perfection, all or nothing thinking, self-judgment, or guilt.
  • How does this training program support neurodiverse learners?
    The entire training, user experience, and design has been crafted through a trauma-informed, accessibility and inclusion, and neurodiversity affirming lens as well as going through regular peer review and feedback loops.

    All videos come with closed captioning and transcripts.

    Although I cannot meet each person's individual needs, I strive to regularly update with feedback and ensure that you are offer options to adapt as needed to learn in the most supportive way for YOU.
  • Q: What is TRUST™ built on?
    A: TRUST Works™ is a trauma-informed framework, grounded in neuroscience, and honors the communities who’ve long led the way. It utilizes a comprehensive, integrative, advanced interpretation of trauma-informed care.

    It is informed by the NEAR Sciences (neuroscience, epigenetics, ACES, and resilience), restorative This approach recognizes that trust is not a "one-size-fits-all" concept. It is deeply influenced by power, identity, history, and systems.

    TRUST™ is the proprietary interpretation and model that I've created and used over the last 15+years from helping individuals and organizations make meaningful changes to their cultures. However, TRUST Works™ doesn’t claim to invent this work—it stewards and builds on it, acknowledging its roots, and commits to doing it with integrity.
  • Q: Is this training just for people in leadership roles at their organizations?
    A: First, I would say that leadership isn’t reserved for people in the C-suite. True leadership is self-leadership.

    But no. This framework can have an impact for anyone looking to integrate trauma-informed skills and actively build higher levels of trust into their work and relationships.
  • Q: Will I be certified after I complete the training?
    A: Everyone who completes the training is eligible for a Certificate of Competency.

    The process entails completing and receiving a 80% in the post self-assessments and submitting your TRUST™ in action plan for integrating this work with integrity and fidelity.

    Once completed and approved, you will receive a certificate PDF and digital badge to show others you have successfully completed and demonstrated competence as a TRUST™ builder.

    You can proudly display this credential on your resume, LinkedIn profile, website, etc.

    *Please note: completion of TRUST Works is the pre-requisite for all future advanced certifications and train the trainer programs.
  • What is the refund policy?
    Due to the nature of this being a virtual training, no refunds will be offered.

    This training has been carefully designed with YOU at the center of mind. I have woven together my 15+ years experience as a licensed professional who specializes in trauma-informed care practices to curate this training for you.

    If you have any concerns or extenuating circumstances, please contact me once you are enrolled.
  • Do you offer Continuing Education credits?
    At this time, I am not able to offer continuing education credits that would meet the needs of a global student population. However, I do have an outline you can attempt to submit to your state board for approval (this has been successful for many national and state boards in the US). Please contact me, I am happy to provide what you may need to submit for credits.
  • I already consider myself trauma-informed, how is this different?
    As a trauma-informed leader, you know that this is an ongoing practice and evolution.

    TRUST Works is an advanced interpretation of the traditional trauma-informed care model. It goes beyond theory and focuses on everyday application.

    Participants who engage in TRUST report feeling more confident in their ability to integrate this approach into their work and life.
  • How long does the training take?
    The training doesn't have a specific number of hours as it is designed for the user to go at a pace that is best for your brain, body, and life.

    Each person will take their own time and spend more time on some areas and less on others.

    With that said, overall for the training to be complete in its entirety with focus on reflections and application activities, and time for integration, it is about 40 hours.

    **Please remember that trauma-informed care isn't just about the time spent learning but also about the time spent practicing, integrating and growing.
